Interchange Optimization.  Reducing rates and fees “behind the scenes”.
Dealer Pay is going above and beyond for our dealers, with an important feature we call Interchange Optimization.  By providing the card brands with added information, to reduce risk, you to qualify for lower rates and fees automatically with our point-of-sale. 
What can you save?  Up to 0.50% or a ½ of a percent!

Outage Protocols – Important
Steps to accept payments during an outage
  1. Please complete Card Authorization form online or download and print the form here.
  2. Please complete ALL fields on the form with Sales Information, Card Information and billing information.
*Please note that if ALL of the information is not obtained, it may not be accepted for authorization
  1. Please store securely and repeat, until the site is back up and running.
If a check/ACH is accepted, please deposit the check manually.
You will receive a new email notification once the site is back up and running!
Steps to Authorize and capture payments once we are back up and running:
  • Using the Card Authorization Form as reference, please select Card Not Present from the Process Payments Menu.
  • Enter the Sale Amount, Transaction Type (RO, reference, etc.), Card Number, Expiration Date, and Security Code
  • Enter the Billing Information, including Name, Address, City, State, and Zip Code
  • Select Process Sale
If the payment is declined, please contact the customer for a different payment type. Contact Dealer Pay Support, at support@dealer-pay.com, for further assistance.
What’s New with Dealer Pay’s POS?
As you know we are constantly updating our hardware and software solutions to best fit the needs of our dealers.  Here is what we have added recently.
 – Chat is here!  Our agents are available to chat with you regarding any support issue during business hours.  If you need immediate help, we are here for you to submit a ticket, email, call and now CHAT!
 – IP Filtering is an IP address blocking feature that blocks requests from hosts with certain IP addresses. In DP POS, we can add this for your dealership, so that we can prevent users from processing transactions from “non-designated” IP addresses.  This is a fraud protection feature, for disgruntled customers and can only be configured by DP administration.
 – Multi-dept. User is a feature we added so that users in your dealership and be assigned to multiple departments.  This allows them to ensure the transaction reports accordingly and if Pay Share is used, so that the specific department criteria is applied correctly.
